What a noble figure that of Paul, even when he was unable to do the Lord's work. what dignity, and how he rises morally above the greatness of this world! We shall see him in heaven, but what is still better for him and for us, we shall see the Savior who has so loved us. What joy ineffable, that of seeing Him face to face—-yes, the One who has so loved us! It will be true joy to me to see all the saints perfect, according to the Lord's heart, when He shall see of the fruit of the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied. But amid all, He alone will be the object who will fill the heart; we shall be eternally satisfied, being with Him, and filled with His presence, and the fruit of His love in the Father's house.
