What gave Christ such liberty in a scene of entanglements, a thicket of difficulties, where everything Seemed to say, "There is no God?" It was that He looked up and saw God and the glory of God; and that is what you have to look at-God -a God who maintains His own character, and carries out His own plan, come what may. Most comforting to the soul is the effect of this; if death come, there is resurrection from the dead. Nothing can fail.
