Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers.

Scripture is very clear. In connection with contractual relationships, such as marriage or business, it is wrong to do so with an unbeliever. The two do not mix. A Christian’s standard is God’s standard, which is the opposite of Satan’s. If your friendships are with unsaved people and you are a Christian, you may have to compromise the truth in order to maintain a friendly relationship. The Bible says, “What communion has light with darkness?” The answer is obvious. Make sure your permanent friendships are with other Christians.
