He subdued the powers of hell;
In the fight He stood alone;
All His foes before Him fell,
By His single arm o’er thrown.
They have fallen to rise no more
Final is the foe’s defeat;
Jesus triumphed by His power,
And His triumph is complete.
“SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES; FOR IN THEM YE THINK YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE: AND THEY ARE THEY WHICH TESTIFY OF ME. AND YE WILL NOT COME TO ME, THAT YE MIGHT HAVE LIFE.”
