The teacher revels in the delightful pictorial presentation of "the things concerning Himself" and the striking illustrations of so many New Testament truths. The young believer is fascinated as the story moves on to its glorious climax. The matured Christian never ceases to wonder at the mysteries of redemptive love and grace pictured in the life of this beloved Son of Jacob.
As the lofty mountain is mirrored in the humble lake that nestles amid the valleys below, so the life of our beloved Lord is pictured in that of Joseph, loved by his father, hated by his brethren, and exalted among the Gentiles.
