F. B. Hole was a student, and an able expositor, of Scripture. He was for many years the editor of the magazine, Scripture Truth. His writings, always clear and direct, have helped many in their understanding of Scripture and the One whom Scripture sets forth, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Some of these writings are reissued in this volume and its companion, Understanding Christianity Key Teachings, in order that they may be available to, and of blessing to, the wider Christian public. They are reissued so that the clear teaching of Scripture might be set forth in a day when so many of the basic tenets of the Christian faith are under attack.
