And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.
Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine.
{i}And{/i} thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son and thy daughter{i}, and thy bondman, and thy handmaid, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are in thy gates{/i}.
Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto Jehovah thy God in the place which Jehovah shall choose: because Jehovah thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the increase of thine hands; therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.
Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before Jehovah thy God in the place which he shall choose, {i}at the feast of unleavened bread, and at the feast of weeks, and at the feast of tabernacles; and they shall not appear before Jehovah empty:{/i}
{i}each shall give according to that which is in his power to give, according to the blessing of Jehovah thy God which he hath given thee{/i}.
{i}Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes, that they may judge the people with just judgment.{/i}
{i}Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a bribe; for the bribe blindeth the eyes of the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.{/i}
{i}Perfect justice shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and possess the land that Jehovah thy God giveth thee.{/i}
Thou shalt not plant a grove of any trees near unto the altar of Jehovah thy God, which thou shalt make thee.
Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which Jehovah thy God hateth.
