(Baal’s man). Ishbosheth, Saul’s fourth son (1 Chron. 8:33; 9:39).

Concise Bible Dictionary:

Fourth son of Saul (1 Chron. 8:33; 1 Chron. 9:39). Apparently the same as ISH-BOSHETH. The one name signifies “man of Baal,” and the other “man of shame.”
