1. Town in the south of Judah (Josh. 15:21²¹And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur, (Joshua 15:21)).

2. Son of Mushi and grandson of Merari (1 Chron. 23:23²³The sons of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jeremoth, three. (1 Chronicles 23:23); 1 Chron. 24:30³⁰The sons also of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after the house of their fathers. (1 Chronicles 24:30)).
