Listen from:
“I have declared unto them Thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith Thou hast loved Me may be in them, and I in them” (John 17:2626And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. (John 17:26)). Since man’s creation, God has made Himself known to man by different names and titles. These names reflect the different times and ways in which man has been put by God in relationship with Him. We now know Him as Father, but before the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, He was not known in that way. Until then, none had been brought into His family as His children. As we reflect on our God and how He makes Himself known to us, we get to know Him better and, as we do, we come to love and honor Him more. As another has said, “To know Him is to love Him.”
