Take now thy son  .  .  .  and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
Abraham was a man of great faith and deep conviction. It has been said that if Abraham had been totally devoted to his convictions, he may have slain Isaac, figuring that the voice he heard was that of the enemy. It is possible to be so “unmovable” in your belief or position that you may fail to hear the “still small voice” of God. Have you ever examined your beliefs and convictions in the “light” of His Word? Prayerfully ask God to show you what is really from Him.
