COMPLETE in Him, O wondrous grace
That brought me near to God !
In Him in whom all fulness dwells,
According to His word.
Complete in Him—no limit there—
Complete in Christ the Son,
Who now adorns the throne of God—
His well beloved One.
Complete in Him, yea even now
While through this world I roam!
Blest portion this as on I tread
Toward my eternal home.
Complete in Him through grace divine,
No fear, no distance now,
No cloud above, no spot within,
No grief need cloud the brow.
Complete in Him, and soon to be
Where I shall fully know
The depth, and length, and breadth and height,
Of love that made me so.
Complete in Him e'en now and here,
While in this vale of tears,
But more enjoyed and understood,
Through heaven's eternal years.
