Wild Boar
The well-known animal in its wild state. They are still found in Palestine, and dwell among the long reeds in the Jordan valley and marshy places. They are very destructive to cultivated land (Psa. 80:1313The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it. (Psalm 80:13)).
