The Lord's coming with His own
Last month the questions were about the Lord's coming for His own. This month they are about His coming with His own. When He comes for His own He will come into the air and we shall rise to meet Him there. Later, when He comes with His saints, He will come right to the earth, and the answer to question three tells us where His feet will stand. He will come to judge the living nations and to set up His kingdom in righteousness. Many Christians confuse these two events, but they are always kept distinct in the Word of God,
Two remarks might help our readers to distinguish the scriptures which speak of this latter event, Any verses which tell of Christ's coming in judgment, and of the setting up of the kingdom, always refer to this time. It is often called “ the appearing” for the world will see Him than. When this event is brought before as Christians, it be noticed that responsibility is usually brought in, for at that time we shall be manifested with. Christ. Therefore our walk now should be in view of that day when the world will see us with Him in His glory. It is only as we seek to walk worthy of the Lord that we can truly "love His appearing,"
