1. Romans 6:6⁶Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. (Romans 6:6); Galatians 2:20²⁰I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20); Galatians 5:24²⁴And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. (Galatians 5:24); Galatians 6:14¹⁴But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. (Galatians 6:14).

(1 Corinthians 15:55‑58). Our love is never perfect towards God. When we believe God’s perfect love towards us, we have no fear. His perfect love casteth out all fear. He that feareth does not believe that God loves him as He loves the Lord Jesus Christ (John 17:23²³I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. (John 17:23)).
