"And Having Done All, to Stand"

Listen from:
Thou gav’st Thyself for me:
Then may I stand
Steadfastly, true to Thee,
In the foe’s land.
For surely Thou art worth
The standing for;
Thou who this hostile earth
Hast trod before.
Finding no help or friend
To be Thy stay;
Yet faithful to the end
Of the dark way.
So may it be with me,
In these dark days—
Looking alone to Thee,
Seeking Thy praise.
Standing for Thee alone,
Held by Thine hand;
And having all things done,
Yet still, to stand.
