(covering). (1) A city of the priests in Benjamin (1 Chron. 6:60⁶⁰And out of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with her suburbs, and Alemeth with her suburbs, and Anathoth with her suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities. (1 Chronicles 6:60)). Written Almon (Josh. 21:18¹⁸Anathoth with her suburbs, and Almon with her suburbs; four cities. (Joshua 21:18)). (2) A descendant of Jonathan (1 Chron. 8:36; 9:42³⁶And Ahaz begat Jehoadah; and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza, (1 Chronicles 8:36)
