“And all bare Him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth” (Luke 4:22²²And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son? (Luke 4:22)).

“But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ” (Eph. 4:15¹⁵But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: (Ephesians 4:15)).

The following excerpt from an 1870 letter of Mr. Darby is particularly appropriate and applicable for believers to consider in a time when “the love of many” is becoming “cold.” He writes in part: “Regarding souls just coming out, the speaking or praying (so to speak) against denominations does harm. I fear one laborer was driven away by doing so.”

May God give us grace and wisdom! “He giveth more grace” (James 4:6⁶But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. (James 4:6)).

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally” (James 1:5⁵If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. (James 1:5)).

“Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man” (Col. 4:6⁶Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. (Colossians 4:6)).
