There is a home in heaven for me
A home and with the Lord;
Who gained this blessed home for me?
‘Twas He who died on Calvary,
‘Twas Jesus Christ the Lord.
There is a crown in heaven for me,
Laid up before the Lord;
And who hath won this crown for me?
‘Twas He who bled on Calvary,
The Lamb of God, the Lord.
There is a life in heaven for me,
A life, and with the Lord;
Who bought with blood this life for me?
‘Twas He who hung on Calvary,
The Son of God, the Lord.
Yes, Jesus won them all for me,
He is the risen Lord.
He bore my sins upon the tree,
Upon the cross at Calvary,
He is my life, my Lord.
