J.” It is, in our judgment, quite contrary to the mind of Christ for females to meet for the celebration of the Lord’s Supper, without a brother. 1 Corinthians 11:1,12, seems to render the presence of a man essential to the integrity of the ordinance. But then we merely give our judgment in the matter. Let everyone be fully persuaded in his own mind.
