“F. F.” wishes to know the force of the word “apprehend” in
Philippians 3:12

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:12)
. We take it to mean simply this: Paul had been laid hold of for glory, and his one aim was to lay hold of that glory.
