7And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay wood in order on the fire;

9But its inwards and its legs shall he wash in water; and the priest shall burn all on the altar, a burnt offering, a fire-offering of sweet odour to Jehovah.
10And if his offering be of the flock, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt-offering, he shall present it a male perfect.
11And he shall slay it on the side of the altar northward before Jehovah; and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle its blood on the altar round about.
12And he shall cut it into its pieces, and its head, and its fat. And the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire on the altar;
13but the inwards and the legs shall be washed with water. And the priest shall present all and burn on the altar; it is a burnt-offering, a fire-offering of sweet savour to Jehovah.
14And if his offering to Jehovah be a burnt-offering of fowls, then he shall present his offering of turtle-doves or of young pigeons.
15And the priest shall bring it near to the altar, and wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; and its blood shall be drained out at the side of the altar.
16And he shall take away its crop with its feathers and cast it beside the altar on the east into the place of the ashes;
17and he shall split it at its wings, [but] not divide [it] asunder; and the priest shall burn it on the altar on the wood that is on the fire: it is a burnt-offering, a fire-offering of sweet savour to Jehovah.
1And when any one [a soul] presents an oblation to Jehovah, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon.
2And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the priests; and he shall take there-out his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial thereof on the altar, a fire-offering of sweet odour to Jehovah.
3And the remainder of the oblation shall be Aaron's and his sons': [it is] most holy of Jehovah's fire-offerings.
4And when thou presentest an oblation of a meal-offering a baking of the oven, [it shall be] unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
5And if thine oblation [be] a meal-offering on the plate, it shall be fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.
6Thou shalt part it in pieces, and pour oil thereon: it [is] a meal-offering.
7And if thine oblation [be] a meal-offering in the earthen pan , it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
8And thou shalt bring the oblation that is made of these things to Jehovah; and it shall be presented to the priest, and he shall bring it to the altar.
9And the priest shall take from the meal-offering a memorial thereof, and shall burn [it] on the altar, a fire-offering of a sweet odour to Jehovah.
10And the remainder of the meal-offering [shall be] Aaron's and his sons' [it is] most holy of Jehovah's fire-offerings.
11No meal-offering which ye shall offer to Jehovah shall be made with leaven; for ye shall burn no leaven and no honey as a fire-offering to Jehovah.
12As to offering of first fruits, ye shall offer them to Jehovah; but they shall not come up for a sweet odour on the altar.
13And every offering of thy meal-offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meal-offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.
14And if thou offer an oblation of firstfruits to Jehovah, thou shalt offer for thine oblation of thy firstfruits green ears of corn parched with fire, corn beaten out of full ear.

16And the priest shall burn the memorial of it, of the beaten corn thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; [it is] a fire-offering to Jehovah.
1And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offerings, if he present of the herd whether male or female, he shall present it without blemish before Jehovah.

and as many, etc.As the burnt offerings were wholly consumed on the altar, the offering of them evinced greater zeal and liberality than the oblation of peace offerings, the greater part of which was eaten by the officer and his friends.
 The sanctuary, the kingdom, the priesthood, Judah, and all Israel having been cleansed by the blood of the sacrifice, and henceforth consecrated to Jehovah (2 Chron. 29:31; cf. Ex. 28:41), Hezekiah invites them to draw near. We are almost present at a scene approaching the one described in Hebrews 10:19-22: (Hezekiah - Purification: 2 Chronicles 29 by H.L. Rossier)
