A.” The three editors, Griesbach, Scholz, and Tischendorf agree in a text of Rev. 5:10, thus, “And made them kings and priests unto our God, and they shall reign upon the earth.” When these agree as to a reading, it takes precedence of the “Received Text” from which our unrivaled translation was made. John 13:1, while applying specially to the disciples, doth, most surely apply also to all who come under the head of “His own, in the world.” He loves them, not for a day, a month, or a year, merely, but right through to the end. Precious truth!
